Wear/bring: If you’re interested in being picked as a test subject, wear comfortable exercise gear and runners, bring water and a towel. Otherwise casual gear and a notebook and pen.

Activity in a nutshell

Learn the importance of real food for fat loss and performance. Understand how specific testing can personalise your nutrition and training and accelerate your goals, whether it’s losing weight or achieving a unique performance edge.

What’s great about it?

There will be a real-life demo in the session that shows how your Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) can be determined in approximately 10 minutes. This will guide your calorie intake and weight loss, while maintaining a healthy metabolism. Secondly, a performance specific test will be demonstrated, which is highly beneficial for athletes wanting to improve their endurance —it determines at what point you start to crossover and use carbohydrates as a primary source of fuel over fat. Fat burners have a metabolic advantage in endurance events —all will be revealed on how you can get a competitive edge over your rivals this year.
