The Magnetic Island Adventure games is back again this October 25. The Games will see more challenges and activities available over a three to five-hour period – think along the lines of the amazing race.

Each team can consist of between two to five people .There is a two-hour course and a five-hour course to choose from.

Contestants involved in the race will receive a map before the start of the event as well as a clue sheet. There will be a series of checkpoints to discover all over the island, with some checkpoints giving you challenges and puzzles to complete and others giving you the chance to unlock multiple challenges worth extra points.

Challenges could be anything from eating or drinking, videoing or photographing your team doing something in particular or using skills from games or sports activities. However, the challenges are less about being physical and more about fun and thinking. [Pssst: Secret Code is ‘Active Adventure’].

At the end, the points are tallied together to create a leader board of teams. The real winning is in the fun you have on the Island.

Time: 8am-1:00pm for long course and 10am-12 noon for short course
