Flippa Ball (Beginner’s Water Polo) Come & Try Day

October 29, 2016 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Townsville Water Polo Association in association with the Queensland Governments Sports and Recreation Services would like to invite Townsville Primary School students aged 9-12 years to a Come & Try event.

Townsville Water Polo will be covering the costs (player insurance, pool entry and catering) for this event. This event is a great opportunity to introduce children and their parents to a great summer sport. The Come & Try  event will be held on Saturday the 29th of October, 2016.

Flippa Ball (beginners’ water polo) is a modified version of water polo specifically designed for young children learning the game. It is a fun, simple game that can be played by all children regardless of swimming ability. Flippa Ball is a non contact game played in a shallow pool; the children may use the bottom of the pool to rest and feel safe and secure.

If interested please contact the Townsville Water Polo Association. There are limited places available (60 places only).
