Activity in a nutshell

The Get Active Expo is Townsville’s inaugural sport, recreation and health expo. This free-to attend-expo will provide the opportunity to talk to representatives and learn about local sport and recreation opportunities, watch or get involved in the active demonstrations, or make your way through the Active Zone areas where you can move in and out of a range of activities and sessions.

What’s great about it?

Meet and hear from a number of our local female athletes, including the 2014 WNBL Championship winning team the Townsville JCU Fire. Townsville’s favourite active hero, Captain Active, will also be there! Plus the first 100 through the door receive a ‘Get Active Prize Pack’ and take advantage of special active deals only available at the expo.

Who’s it best for?

Anyone who’s interested in discovering new activities and supporting women and girls in sport.

By registering for the 31 Days of Activity you:

Consent to TheGo using your name, likeness, image and/or video recording in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this initiative or TheGo, and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by us. Agree to register for a maximum of three activities. Agree to contact us in the event you can’t attend the class so we can open up the available place to someone else. Are physically capable to do this activity and indemnify TheGo against all claims, demands, fines, charges, liability, expense, loss and/or damage (including personal injury) whatsoever arising out of this activity. Agree for TheGo to pass your email address on to the Activity Host of your session.
