Teen yoga classes are designed specifically for teens and provide a supportive environment where young people can build strength, flexibility, confidence and inner peace.
Teen Yoga not only strengthens a teenager’s physiological changes, but yoga also supports the emotional and hormonal changes which can bring confusion and stress.
Yoga builds mindful awareness, confidence, concentration, guides intuition, and teaches a variety of relaxation techniques. Yoga also teaches us to explore ourselves with optimism and self-expression. Yoga is about giving, self-acceptance, respect for ourselves and others.
About your teacher – Jasmine Healy-Pagan BEd. EYT500
Jasmine is a mother of two teens and has been teaching children and teens for more than 20 years. Jasmine is especially passionate about supporting young people with strategies that encourage healthy life choices, self acceptance, emotional resilience and intuition. Yoga is a life support system that explores all of these areas and this is why Jasmine continues to share yoga programs for all ages in a variety of settings.
