Wattbike pedalling technique correction – FREE

April 30, 2015 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

| FREE

Learn to pedal like a champion and become as efficient as you can on your bike through these Wattbike sessions – a new addition to Townsville.

Developed in association with British Cycling, endorsed by Cycling Australia, and used by World and Olympic Champions, the Wattbike is the first factory calibrated indoor bike to deliver accurate, consistent performance data and technical feedback.

One of the unique features of the Wattbike is the ability to monitor pedalling technique by living every pedal revolution, which is displayed on the screen as a Polar View.

These sessions for the Women in Cycling Series will be focussed on improving pedalling to be faster, better placed to tackle hills, and generally fitter and safer (chance of accidents happen when fatigued).

Bring the following: Water bottle, towel, knicks and cycling shoes (pedals take Shimano road and MTB, and also Look, cleats). Also, if you have a heart rate strap bring it along and your Garmin if you have one.

Arrive 5.15pm for a 5.30pm start.

Bookings are essential and are capped at 10.

Please use this form to secure your spot – please note the details you provide will get added to the bikes beforehand to speed-up the process on the evening. If you don’t have the information, just say ‘don’t know’.

Sorry this session is booked out.
